As you may know, EviCore has officially begun transitioning to Evernorth® Health Services branding. But what you may not know is that this transition goes far beyond establishing a unified look. By simplifying our presence under the Evernorth brand – which is comprised of pharmacy, benefits and care solutions, including Express Scripts® – we’re also making it easier for you to deliver comprehensive, connected care to your patients. With this in mind, we’re pleased to announce you can now process pharmacy drug authorizations for Express Scripts Pharmacy by Evernorth® patients in the same place you submit medical prior authorizations: the EviCore portal. Here’s how:
- Go to the portal.
- Log in to your EviCore account or create an account.
- Choose the “Pharmacy Drug (Express Scripts Coverage)” option from the list under Request an Authorization.
- Click “Continue” to provide the necessary information for your pharmacy drug prior authorization request. If you need assistance, please use the chat option within the portal or contact 800-646-0418. If you need assistance from Express Scripts Pharmacy by Evernorth, please contact 877-363-1303. Please note, the pharmacy drug portal follows the NCPDP® Standard (v2017071) for ePA transactions.
