Our Provider Engagement Team is dedicated to helping you have the best possible experience with EviCore by Evernorth®. We wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to the team so you can get to know them and better understand how you might work with them in the future. In this edition, we’re featuring Michael Morgan.
Michael Morgan, Regional Provider Engagement Manager for Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia
Michael became a registered nurse in 2003, but he has been helping people for far longer, including serving as an active duty Air Force medic from 1995 to 1999. These days, Michael is a Tennessee resident who loves running, hiking, playing music, and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Michael joined the Provider Engagement Team in 2020, but he has worked with EviCore since 2011 when he joined the company as a nurse reviewer on the Neuro-Spine Team. He helped launch the company’s Physician Quality Assurance Program in 2012 and worked as a Senior Clinical Manager in Post-acute Care until 2019.

The goal of the Provider Engagement Team is to help providers successfully navigate the prior authorization process and all that comes with it: the portal, clinical resources, peer-to-peer reviews, and reconsideration options, as well as communication with our health plan clients.
