Reminder: Facility Changes Can be Made on Existing Cases

Facility changes on complete and approved cases can be completed online. To complete the task, simply search the case information and follow the prompts after clicking the CHANGE SITE button. At this time, only the original user who submitted the case can access this functionality.

Facility Change Enhancement for Complete and Approved Cases  

  1. Start by performing an authorization lookup.

  2.  Once the case info is displayed, click the CHANGE SITE button.

    You can also access this functionality from the certification summary tab:

  3. The site will then display the facility search page. It’s easiest to search for the facility by NPI.

  4. Facility search info will populate. Verify the information, click the SELECT button and then click the SUBMIT button before continuing to the last verification screen:

  5. As soon as the update is completed, the fields on the authorization summary will change to reflect the new site. (Refresh the page if needed.)
